Echosmith at Denver’s Gothic Theatre

I can’t call myself a kid anymore (I turned 48 last week, in fact) but I definitely identify with Echosmith’s anthem “Cool Kids.” It seems a lot of people in Denver do as well, based on their recent show at the Gothic Theatre. The band of siblings definitely attracts a crowd of all ages and they embrace it. With confetti and balloons throughout the evening, there is a sense of whimsy beyond Echosmith’s infectious pop sound. Lead singer Sydney Sierota has an angelic voice and all three of them play multiple instruments – meaning it’s not fluff in the middle of all that fun.
