The band Everclear - Denver Concert Photos

Everclear and Fastball at Odgen Denver

I have been catching up on so many bands I somehow never managed to see live before lately – and Everclear is one of them. The band is celebrating their 30th anniversary – a huge feat for any band – and hit Denver with Fastball recently. Of course the show was peppered with all the hits. Since forming in 1992, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career by any measure, spanning 11 studio releases, selling over 6 million records, and achieving 12 hit singles, including “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You A New Life,” as well as thousands of shows and a 1998 Grammy nomination.

I was glad to finally catch one of those shows, and sing my heart out just like everyone else in attendance. Everclear is: Art Alexakis (vocals, guitar), Davey French (guitar), Freddy Herrera (bass), Brian Nolan (drums). Obviously, the leader, Art, is the most recognizable, especially with his distinctive voice.

Everclear continues their tour into the fall, so you still have time to catch them during their special year!
