Failure at Bluebird Theater Denver

The band Failure started out in 1990, took a hiatus in the late 90s and came roaring back in the mid 2010’s. They have released six full-length albums and five EPs, one of them being Fantastic Planet… a must-have for pretty much every person I know.

Failure made a triumphant return to Denver at our Bluebird Theater recently and instead of an opener, showed us snippets from their upcoming documentary – including clips of Brian Aubert from Silversun Pickups and Butch Vig from Garbage.

After that, all bets were off. As you can see, we Denverites were thrilled to have them back in the Mile High City and Failure kept up the intensity going all night long. They played songs from their latest album, Wild Type Droid, and others – but made sure to touch on the aforementioned Fantastic Planet in the encore.

Let’s hope we don’t have to wait another three years for them to return to Colorado.
