Franz Ferdinand - Denver Concert Photos - Ogden Theatre

Franz Ferdinand at Ogden Theatre Denver

One of the shows I was most looking forward to in 2022 was Franz Ferdinand at Denver’s Ogden Theatre. I had never seen this Scottish indie rock band and they were touring to celebrate their greatest hits compilation Hits to the Head. Frontman Alex Kapranos has such a distinctive (and amazing) voice – plus he’s incredibly fun to watch bounce all over the stage. The rest of the Franz crew is Bob Hardy, Julian Corrie, Dino Bardot, and new drummer Audrey Tait.

The crowd was in agreement with me in terms of enthusiasm and it was another show full of shouted lyrics. All in all, it was a theatrical, loud, sweaty and well worth the wait.

The band finishes out their Hits tour back in Europe and if you look at the venues, they are much larger there, naturally. Makes me doubly glad we got a show this year and I hope they come back soon.
