Low Cut Connie Concert Denver at Levitt Pavilion

Low Cut Connie at Levitt Denver

Low Cut Connie is the kind of band that reminds you Rock & Roll can still sweat, swagger, and spill its drink allover the piano. Fronted by the endlessly charismatic Adam Weiner, who is equal parts Jerry Lee Lewis and dive-bar preacher, the band exploded out of Philadelphia with a live show that quickly became the stuff of indie legend. Since their 2011 debut, Get Out The Lotion, they’ve carved a niche as the high-energy purveyors of raw, unfiltered American rock.

Recently, Low Cut Connie played a free show at Denver’s Levitt Pavilion, and it was an absolute blast. Weiner stomps across his upright piano, affectionately named “Nellie,” while belting out songs like it’s his last night on Earth. He had the whole crowd clapping, dancing, and hugging him across the barricade. You don’t just go to a Low Cut Connie concert – you join the congregation.

Musically, they mash up glam, soul, punk, and vintage piano rock into something that feels simultaneously nostalgic and brand new. You’ll hear Springsteen in the storytelling, Bowie in the flair, and The Replacements in the frayed edges. Adam lifted us up during the pandemic with “Tough Cookies” and continues their 2025 tour back east into the fall. Don’t miss these guys!
