Maryland: Day Two
On our second day in Maryland, we crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (with surprisingly little traffic snafus, given the holiday weekend) to visit Aunt Kitty and Uncle Bill on the Eastern Shore. And since every visit to Aunt Kitty and Uncle Bill must include a trip to my favorite place in the world to eat crabs, we made sure to have lunch at The Pier Street Marina in Oxford. This is the kind of place were you can sit on the river… nurse a beer… pick crabs for hours… and watch the kids play with seashells and bird poop.
Later in the day, we headed back the Aunt Kitty and Uncle Bill’s house for some homemade dessert. And seeing as it was hotter than the sun, the boys quickly decided a water fight would go nicely with their cupcakes.
Watching cosuins chase each other around like maniacs for several hours is a very satisfying way to cap off a lovely day.
I could eat crabs and drink beer all day. Yum. Great photos (as usual) Especially the one where D is chucking the water.
Looks like D has green Crocs? 😉
Yup. His first ones were blue. 🙂
Fabulous pictures, Aimee. I love the one of you and Dex… totally framable!
