1. I reckon Outkast is cool. Don’t care what anyone says. Mind you I love Yeah, by Usher. (So wtf do I know.)
2. Well I have thing for Objection Tango by Shakira so Wherever, Whenever uproar is pointless.
3. I have earworms from most of these. Right Now Scritti Politi (I have this album on vinyl) is rotating in my brain.
There is however NO excuse for Carribean Queen. 😉

Becky… WHFS was the alternative rock station growing up in Baltimore. It was supremely awesome. Introduced me to soooo many bands. And ironically enough, they played Loverboy’s Working For The Weekend every Friday at 5pm.

My son is in 9th grade now. He won’t admit to it but when he was in 1st grade, he was a big Backstreet Boys fan. I took him to their concert.

I think Lady in Red is the most embarrassing song ever, and I always cry when I hear it, which is even more embarrassing.

I’m not sure about the other songs on your list, but Rolling Stone Magazine named Hey Ya in the top 50 greatest songs of all time. Of which I concur. But most of the songs on your on sing-a-longables and to me that is the best!

My kid has THE WORST taste in music I’ve ever seen. Toni can’t get enough of the Pina Colada song. You know the one I’m talking about?? “If you like Pina Coladas…. gettin’ caught in the rain…if you’re not into yoga… and you have half a brain…” She’s got the freaking thing memorized.
