My question is…

Why couldn’t Madonna have chosen an child that was fully an orphan, rather than one that was voluntarily given up? Yes, yes, before you hate on me, I am sure the father is suffering and it was a really hard decision to put his son in an orphanage. But I still think it’s too bad a child that was totally defenseless didn’t get scooped by an international superstar.

And while we are on the subject… what is with all the red tape to adopt these children who have one toe into the grave? Not that I want there to be an international baby grab which would result in more shitty family situations around the globe… but at the same time – maybe more people would adopt these children out of hell if it didn’t take 2 years and cost almost as much as their mortgage to do so.
