One Flew West CD-Release Show at Bluebird Denver

Denver band One Flew West has been around for several years now, and it’s always awesome to see them live in concert. They were at the Bluebird Theater for the release of their new EP Trial and Error last week and the place was packed. Fellow Coloradans Silver & Gold and Compass & Cavern opened the night.

The guys played a wide variety of tunes – including songs from the new EP (of course), older faves like “Kind of Love” and “Had It All,” as well as a new one that lead singer Linden Jackson had written only a few days before.

It’s been amazing to watch One Flew West grow as a band. I am lucky to have photographed them several times before, but this was their first headlining show at the iconic east Colfax venue. Based on how much ass was kicked, I know there will be many more.
