Waterparks, Kitten and De’Wayne Jackson at Summit Denver

To say the Waterparks concert at Summit Denver was “interesting” is an understatement, to say the least. During opener Kitten’s set, lead singer Chloe grabbed my camera (yes, my big girl professional camera) and took photos of the band from stage. See if you can guess which ones are hers in their photo set below.

The other opener was DeWayne Jackson – and that dude was like if you took a blender of every possible thing and came out with a really fun performance.

Waterparks was absolutely killing it until lead singer Awsten Knight seemed to get annoyed with the crowd and started yelling things like, “You can’t peer pressure me, I don’t even like you!” The band also went into a bizarre version of the Star Spangled Banner. But, no worries. It made for a memorable evening – and when they got back to rocking out, I was ready to get back to it with them.

Waterparks are in The UK and the rest of Europe through February to promote their new album, Fandom. Check out photos of all three bands below!
