Rafting Virgins, No More

As a thank you for all the help while he was sick, Rob took a bunch of us from work on a rafting trip this Saturday. It was a long day, but we had a blast. Declan and I rode in the big raft with Rob, while Bryan was in his in kayak and the others in rented duckies. There were about 14 of us – and we ended up with only one swimmer (someone dumped by the rapids into the water)… pretty decent average if you ask me. We were on a fairly tame section of the Colorado River called Pumphouse, but we still had a few sections of fun rapids. Declan loved it and kept yelling, “More bouncey places! More bouncey places!” I definitely think we have a river rat in the making.
