Silverstein and Hawthorne Heights at Oriental Theater

It seems that Oriental Theater is booking more rock bands lately and I am all for it. Silverstein and Hawthorne Heights packed the place at the end of 2018. I was able to also catch Silverstein with Tonight Alive early in the year, so the show was a great bookend for my pop-punk musical education.

This was also the first show that I actually was body slammed into the stage by crowd surfers! It was no one’s fault – security does a great job of trying to warn us, but basically I was trying to jump out of the way and got caught. Ooof. Talk about seeing stars!

So, not only will I remember Silverstein for the great music and great energy, I’ll remember those bruised ribs.  😆
