Tennis at Mission Ballroom Denver

Tennis is an indie-pop band formed in 2010 by husband and wife duo Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore. Hailing from here in Denver (yay!), their music is characterized by dreamy melodies, catchy hooks, and Moore’s enchanting vocals. With a retro-inspired sound, Tennis crafts tunes that transport listeners to a nostalgic world that somehow still sounds modern.

Their headlining show at Mission was packed with people ready to see the duo after a long absence. It was definitely a mellow show, but one that I really enjoyed just listening to due to the lovely music. I have seen Tennis at a few festivals, but it was nice to finally catch them at their own show.

They’ll be back to Colorado in October – playing Fort Collins and Boulder – so don’t miss Tennis then!
