Leon Bridges - Denver Concert

Leon Bridges at Gothic Theatre Denver

I was waiting for this concert. Leon Bridges has put out one EP that has been on constant rotate around here. Coming Home is an instant classic. I had heard he was amazing live, and everyone was right. Backed by a full band, the sound…
Chvrches band performs in Denver

Chvrches at the Fillmore in Denver

When Chvrches lead singer Lauren Mayberry bounded out on stage at the Fillmore in Denver, I knew it was going to be an awesome show. Then about 30 seconds later, the electricity blew out on stage and the poor gal was standing there awkwardly trying…

FIDLAR in Denver

I love how we have so many different kinds of concert venues here in Denver, that support all kinds of music. When I go to the Marquis, it's almost always guaranteed to be a raucous rock show. Their record label, the Greater Than Collective, supports many Colorado bands and comedians - so you can imagine how full Red Rocks was that night (in addition to Illegal Pete's staff) to celebrate 20 years of awesome. Illegal' Pete's 20th Anniversary

Here's to 20 more!

Duran Duran at Red Rocks 2015

Duran Duran, Chic and Clean Bandit at Red Rocks

Duran Duran. One of my all-time favorite bands... and this was the second time I got to photograph them. Except this would be the first time they played the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater. As a bonus, Nile Rodgers, who has produced basically every band in…

Howard Jones at Soiled Dove in Denver

It's so nice for this kid of the 80's who loved new wave from England to have all her favorite musicians come through Denver, now, when I can have a beer at the show. Howard Jones was probably the person I saw most in concert…
