Taking Back Sunday 20th Anniversary at Summit Denver With The Maine

I first saw Taking Back Sunday live at Riot Fest Denver (that time when Riot Fest was in Denver for a few years) and I was blown away. I was excited they decided to do a tour to commemorate their 20th anniversary, and even more so when I heard The Maine was joining them. Apparently not as excited as the rest of Denver, because the group sold out two nights at Summit Music Hall.

The atmosphere was electric all night. Fans singing along to both bands. Loudly. So much so, that sometimes you could hear the crowd more than the bands. To me, that is a seriously fun show.

The tour also celebrates the release of Twenty, a compilation album of favorites that was released in January of this year. Taking Back Sunday is in Europe right now but return to the east coast in the fall.
