Thrice at Ogden Theatre Denver

I had never seen Thrice live, but they had been on my bucket list forever. I finally got a chance to remedy that in Fall of 2021 at Denver’s Ogden Theatre – my first time back photographing back in that lovely venue since you-know-what. While the mood (by lighting) was dark – the crowd was shaking that particular lovely venue to the rafters with every song Thrice played. We are all so glad to be seeing live music again.

And Thrice – formed in 1998 – is the same group of guys they have ever been, so they play a super tight set. Even me, who never professes to be a music critic could hear it.

Right now, Thrice only has the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid on the books for 2022, but here’s hoping we see a lot more of them back here in the states too. Also be sure to check out the new 2021 album, Horizons/East.
