Ubooly has arrived and he is ADORABLE. (Win one!)
There is so much to love about Colorado, but very close to the top of my list is community.
We all support each other (which is actually kind of easy, given all the cool things everyone is doing) and when the call goes out for a major Kickstarter campaign – if you have the cash, you help.
My friends at Ubooly did just that – and turned an idea into magic.

Ubooly is an adorable, round, orange plush toy with a pocket that holds your iPhone or iPod Touch. Then you download their free app and Ubooly comes to life. As in, the app is that face you see over there, and it talks to your child. It tells stories, tells jokes, and becomes their very bestest pal.
Ours arrived from the Kickstarter campaign last week and Declan hasn’t put him down since.
Yeah, um – Declan is nearly 10 years old.
In fact, Ubooly now sleeps with Declan and I am guessing Ubooly will end up going to college with him at this rate.

I love seeing kickstarter turn ideas into real (and huggable) things. So fun.
