This year’s festival takes place July 24-26, 2026, and while the spirit of UMS remains the same – you’ll be discovering your next favorite band while wandering from venue to venue in a completely new space.
UMS Finds a New Home in RiNo
After years on South Broadway, the Underground Music Showcase heads to Denver’s RiNo Art District. The footprint is compact enough to walk easily, with the two main stages anchoring each end of Larimer Street and a collection of venues in between.
The 2026 UMS footprint stretches along Larimer Street between 24th and 32nd Streets, making it easy to move between stages and venues throughout the day.
Starting at the north end and working south, you’ll find:
- Improper City (32nd Street) Outdoor gathering space and festival kickoff.
- UMS Showcase Stage (30th Street) The festival’s main outdoor stage.
- Two Moons (30th Street) An intimate room for discovering new artists.
- Finn’s Manor (29th Street) Cocktails, patios, and live music.
- Ratio Beerworks (29th Street) A favorite Denver brewery hosting performances.
- Bierstadt Lagerhaus (29th Street) Large beer hall with plenty of space.
- Beacon (29th Street) A cozy venue for emerging acts.
- Larimer Lounge (27th Street) One of Denver’s most iconic independent music venues.
- Campground (27th Street) Next door to Larimer Lounge for easy venue hopping.
- Matchbox (26th Street) An intimate stop near the south end of the route.
- UMS Underground Stage (24th Street) The festival’s second outdoor stage.
With everything centered along a single stretch of Larimer Street, it’s easy to bounce between sets all weekend.

Underground Music Showcase Lineup 2026
One of my favorite things about UMS has always been the mix of artists you already love with the ones you’ll be telling your friends about a month later. The 2026 lineup continues that tradition with a diverse weekend of indie rock, punk, hip hop, Americana, pop, and electronic music spread across RiNo.
This year’s lineup features headliners including Slenderbodies, Twin Shadow, Bad Nerves, Goldie Boutilier, Charlotte Sands, Deb Never, MAVI, King Mala, Kaash Paige, Angelica Garcia, and The Droptines, alongside dozens of Colorado artists and rising national acts.
