Westword Artopia 2018 Photos

It’s crazy to me that 2018 was the first year I attended Westword’s Artopia. It’s been around forever, but somehow the timing just never worked out. If you are like me and haven’t experienced this celebration of art, fashion, and music – be sure to add Artopia to your calendar for next year. The Church on 12th and Lincoln was a new venue for the event but it seemed to match. All the nooks provided places for artists to set up and paint while DJs and local musicians played (I was happy to catch my friend SF1).

There was a separate Silent Disco room and while the entire place was pretty crowded – it was still pretty easy to maneuver. Personally, I appreciated the Modelo drink specials – and with beer in hand, it was fun to watch the art progress and come to life over the course of the night.
