Adoptive Families (Vlog)
I had been going down a path with a video site, and we both decided to go in other directions. Before that, I made some videos way back that never were used – and I just found one that made my heart smile. Talking about adoption and adopting families that aren’t actually related to you. In particular, our best friends Danielle and Jeff and their son, Grayson.
One startling thing about this video is my crazy adult acne. Which has totally disappeared over the past 6 months. (Just in time for all my other health issues, heh.) I have been meaning to blog about how much better my face is now, and this slapped me in the face (again, heh!) as to just how bad it really was back then.

Awesome news about your acne improving finally! What do you think was the most helpful remedy for you? I know you tried a multitude of things, but do you feel like there was one treatment that worked the best for your situation?
I ended up on accutane and it was terrible but it actually worked and turned the tide. I also met recently with a local Denver company Osmotics and their products have done wonders for the texture of my skin after the acne and accutane. I am going to write a post about that soon. One thing I definitely learned is that benzoil peroxide is NOT good for someone of my age (41) – it’s better for teens whose skin is more elastic. Hope that helps!
P.S. when I say accxutane was terrible – I mean the side effects.

Aimee, what you said is so true. We find family in all sorts of places! Our best friends are our family too for sure.
