Year One Baby Portraits

One of the things I love about being a photographer is following people through their lives. One lady I photographed as a child is about to graduate from college. Um, what? Recently I captured an adorable (expressive!) baby whose parents I not only call friends,…

Wiredogs Video: “Am I The Resistance”

One of my favorite Denver bands (especially when I am in the mood for loud punk rock) is Wiredogs. I first knew them as The Hate, but the name never really suited them. They have a big sound and truly put on a raucous show…
Explaining cursing and foul language to children

Colorful Language

That's the term Dex uses to refer to cursing. "Colorful language." I am not even sure where he picked it up, but he is not very fond of it. "He is annoying. He uses colorful language all the time." Yup, Hunter Hayes. My music tastes usually run a bit more indie but I always love good singing and songwriting. I have listened to all of Hunter's music (pre-Grammys even) and it's really beautiful.

I had seen all these outrageous photos on Pinterest of somewhere called Hidden Beach, and to be honest, I didn't even believe it actually existed. But it does. And is amazing. This secret, special place is located within the Marietas Islands, about an hour's boat ride from Puerto Vallarta. We were staying on the Riveria Nayarit side of Banderas Bay, which is much closer.
