Bud Light Dive Bar Tour Denver: Judah & The Lion at Larimer Lounge
Many people know that I drink light beer as a rule, and that Bud Light is my favorite. So when Bud Light announced that their Dive Bar Tour was coming to Denver, I was all over it. But wait … Judah & The Lion was going to play a small club? And it was a free show? With free beer? With a band that is playing at Red Rocks later this summer? You all may have heard me screaming from within your computer screen.
It’s the 4th year for Bud Light to host these type of shows. Past headliners include Lady Gaga, John Mayer, G-Eazy and Post Malone. Denver was the first stop in 2019 – the tour continues next to Anheuser-Busch’s hometown of St. Louis for Brett Eldredge on May 16th.
The location is kept a secret till the last minute. As you can see in all my posts from Larimer Lounge, it is one of my favorite clubs in Denver. The bartenders just laughed when I walked in, because they knew they would be handing me the beer they normally serve me all night long. 🤣
But Larimer Lounge was perfect for Judah & The Lion too. They had headlined there around four year ago, and their banjo player Nate is from Colorado Springs.
“We were so pumped when we saw Post Malone’s Dive Bar Tour show last year that when Bud Light asked us to join the tour, it was a no brainer. And to be back at a venue that we played on a previous tour with our fans, we couldn’t be more excited.” – Judah & The Lion
As you can see from the photos, Denver was happy to have them back too.
