Photos from Denver Zombie Crawl 2016 – Creepy Fun on 16th Street Mall
It’s that time of year again! We are close to Halloween, which means Zombie Crawl takes over Denver’s 16th Street Mall with some really outrageously creepy costumes. Given the state of our election, I expected an onslaught of Trumps, but only saw a few and they always had a Hillary on their arm. The zombie zeitgeist this year was full-on Day of the Dead, with multiple examples up and down the mall.
It’s the 11th anniversary of Denver Zombie Crawl and this year it also fell squarely on founder Danny Newman’s birthday. Personally, I can’t think of a better present than tens of thousands of costumed creatures taking over downtown.

Zombie Crawl was even better & more timely this year, since it fell on the same weekend as The Walking Dead season premier! (I didn’t see any Daryls or Michonnes, but maybe they were there.)
This event is always so fun!
