Hey! Neat!
I just realized that Oh The Joys, in the middle of her nomination frenzy, went a little extra crazy and put me in for Best Photography Blog in the Blogger’s Choice Awards (see the new obnoxious badge under my bio). Wow! I guess I have been kind of photo crazy lately!
And even though I have no business in that category (have you SEEN Jessica Claire’s work???)… AND I know OTJ was mainly doing it to thumb her nose at the whole process over there, I still really appreciate her nomination and sentiments.
So, go vote for me anyway!
And I have been saving just the right photo to celebrate my nomination with. One that really shows off my more Hitchcockian side. My creepy, crawly, Blair Witchian side. It’s a photo of a coworker who just came back from a scuba trip in Mexico. While there, he forgot to adjust the pressure of his mask (or something) and popped blood vessels in his eyes. It didn’t hurt at all and his eyes will be totally fine when the blood drains, but we have been calling him “Los Ojos Del Diablo” all week, or “El D” for short.

That scared the crap out of me. LOL.
I know! By the way – I just found out the reason it happened so badly was that he was taking baby aspirin to be good to his heart daily, thus thinning his blood. So his doc told him next time he goes diving, to stop the aspirin about a week before! Who knew!?!
