Greeblehaus Gallery & Hosting Larimer Lounge Stage at Westword Music Showcase
I have some really exciting news, y’all. Something we have been talking about for years is finally coming to fruition. Not only will Greeblehaus be hosting the Larimer Lounge locals stage at this year’s newly revamped Westword Music Showcase, but I will be opening a gallery of my concert photography in Larimer’s new space next door that very same night too!
I am so thrilled and honored to be part of this collaboration and can’t wait to share all the things we have up our sleeve. But check out the initial details below. Hooray! ❤️
The New Westword Music Showcase
For 2021, WMS has moved to the RiNo Art District, and the festival will be held over two nights in September (the 17th and 18th). Night one will feature local Colorado bands and is FREE. Ten venues stretch across RiNo: Larimer Lounge, Meadowlark, Number 38, Ironton, RiNo Beer Garden, Bierstadt Lagerhaus, Walnut Room, ReelWorks, and Tracks. As people cruise through the neighborhood, they’ll find other performers, as well as artists painting five new murals in the area! Westword is looking to make WMS an full-on experience, full of music (of course), food, drink, art, and friends.
Did I mention this night of WMS is FREE? Like zero dollars FREE? You do not need to purchase night two to attend (although the bands the second night are amazing).
The Greeblehaus Stage at Larimer Lounge
The lineup has been announced, and individual schedules are coming very soon. Greeblehaus is proud to host the stage at Larimer Lounge, and not just because I hang out there all time time. I’ve had a sneak peek of the bands playing at my stage, and I could not be more excited to share these incredible musicians with you. Trust me, it’s gonna to be awesome.
The Greeblehaus Gallery Pop-Up at Larimer Lounge
Have you seen Larimer Lounge’s new back patio? It’s huge and a perfect addition to an already excellent venue. They also have a new space next door, and I will be creating a pop-up gallery (!!!) in there of my concert photography from the past 15 years. This web site has officially reached old age, in blog years, at least! I can’t wait to share all that hard work in a physical space.
I will have prints for sale, but mostly – we want to celebrate music – and life – after such a challenging year.
For a taste, check out my “best of” photos from 2019.
There is lots of fun in store – and lots of details coming soon – but mark your calendars for Friday, September 17th, and do not miss a stop at Larimer Lounge during WMS!
