Mothé at Globe Hall Denver
Mothé is one of those rising indie acts that manages to blend grit and glitter in all the right ways. The Los Angeles-based artist is known for fusing rock energy with pop textures, and lyrics that still pierce your heart. I was lucky enough the meet Spencer, aka Mothé, when they were performing at a UMS a few years ago, and I try to not miss it whenever they have a Denver show.
At Globe Hall recently, Mothé brought that same spark to the stage – synths swirling, guitars crunching, and vocals soaring over a pulse that feels tailor-made for late-night drives. Their live shows balance vulnerability and swagger, drawing in fans who want something heartfelt but not too polished. The energy is authentic, like an artist channeling their own chaos into connection. Personally, “Photobooth” is my favorite song, but “It’s OK To Be Lonely” is a close second.
And Mothé’s recent collab with Indigo de Souza on “Serious” is quickly becoming a fave too:
So, of course, Mothé will now back out on tour with Indigo De Souza and I can’t wait! They’ll be back in Denver at the Gothic on March 16th, so grab tickets for what will definitely be a terrific night!
