Paint Drips and Appleballz
Declan and I spent the afternoon yesterday painting.
Can you tell which one is his and which one is mine?
I’ll give you a hint, his has his name on it and is way better than mine.
He told me the other day he wanted to be an artist when he grows up, and it made my heart melt.
Oh, and if you are wondering why my girl is thinking about a chicken, that was Declan’s idea. He first suggested she be thinking about the Wiggles, but I wasn’t sure how well that would fly on Etsy.
I also painted a matching set of amoebas. Or funky suns, as Declan called them. I rocked his socks off by having suns that were not yellow. Welcome to something called “creative license,” dumpling!
Either way, both my paintings will be up on Etsy later this afternoon. Mrs. Chicken scooped up the last painting I did, so maybe one of you’s will be interested again this time? Hrm?
Oh, and we have a new viral video going out from work. This time starring my fat cat. The fat cat we finally had to give away because of the huge surge in allergies he caused among the men in my household and also the large amounts of pee he deposited on my couch. I didn’t post about it because it makes my heart hurt.
But here is the swan song of Finn. Hope you enjoy it and pass it on to every single person on the planet you know. Because we REALLY REALLY REALLY need to get the hits to Ping My Health to skyrocket. (How is that for subtlety?)

I know. I literally could not talk about it for weeks. But he is happier now, he really was never the same after our dog died from cancer. And Bryan and Declan’s allergist has been on our case for a long, long time.

Aw, big hugs for your kitty cat. There is nothing worse than the smell of cat pee and once it’s on something, it’s OVER. And, of course, allergies suck. That video is a riot!!!

I think I’ve mentioned this before but you paint in a style similar to a local artist here. We have a painting of a mouse with a big bow in our daughter’s room.
Please for the love of god tell me you had nothing to do with the SOUND. 5 TIMES? FIVE. FREAKING. TIMES! … is way too much. One might be considered tasteful, but if I were to visit the site a second time I would already be annoyed by it.
So here are my thoughts on the survey and results:
The responses for the question about how often you eat fast food have a gap. You jump straight from
– The results say that I need to improve my alcohol consumption habits. It says that 5+ drinks in a single sitting is too much and suggests eating or drinking n/a bevs between is a good idea. It also doesn’t ask about duration of that sitting. What about an all day football party? 5 beers over the course of 6-8 hours, all while stuffing your face with food is hardly dangerous, or “high risk” which is what it called me. (Note that I also indicated I never drive under the influence.) ** This just came off as totally rude to me. you’re obviously not collecting enough information to make such claims and I understand that you can’t ask questions all day, but perhaps the results page could be worded a little differently.
For example, my wife and I are monogamous and not currently using birth control/condoms. The results specifically catered to our situation while still offering information and help for someone who might not be in the same type of relationship. This suited me just fine.
And of course it’s nothing personal, just a little feedback. 🙂
