You Me At Six and Dreamers at Marquis Theater

I was a little late to band You Me At Six. I discovered (and loved) them on 2017’s Night People, but they actually formed in 2004 and 2018’s VI was (aptly) their 6th album. I’m hooked. I listen to all the albums now on the regular and I was excited when they came to the Marquis Theater last month. Especially excited that another fave, Dreamers, was opening the show.

I had quite a bit of trouble getting through the crowd to shoot because everyone else in Denver is apparently much more on top of their love of this band than I was. It’s OK, I ended up buying a t-shirt – and for someone who has as many concert t-shirts as I do – that means I really enjoyed the show.

Lead singer Josh Franceschi is incredibly energetic and charismatic – engaging, jumping and having fun with the crowd all night. I totally get why people are loyal fans; I am one now too.

The band is in Australia right now and head back to tour the UK over the summer. Catch them when you can!
