Loss For Words
Last night was one of the most amazing things I have ever watched. Really. We were all witness to history. We will talk about that night with our grandchildren. Both Bryan and I cried. Me? I bawled. Twice.
And this morning, I am at a loss for words for the euphoria, hope and wonder I feel.
So, I will let our new president speak for me.
I am so proud of my country today.

I too cried when he walked out on stage, in a good way.
I bawled too. In fact I’m still crying.. I’m so proud of my country this morning.
I was hanging on every one of his words. So strong, so purposeful, so full of both realism and hope (loved the “maybe not in one year or even one term” line). My Swiss in-laws and friends are sending me emails of congratulation for being a smart American. I never thought about it that way.
I am so proud to be a minority in the great state of Wyoming 🙂 i can’t wait to see what great things will happen!

I just watched the speech. I was working that night surrounded by people who voted differently. This speech encompassed everything I couldn’t express to those individuals that night. Hopefully they will open their hearts to the embodiment of that speech. We are separate individuals, but we have the power to unite and be whole again.
