October Greeblemix Contest – Ready For New Music? Halloween?
I mentioned in a tweet recently how – not counting a few highlights – the month of September really sucked booty. I am soooooo glad it’s October.
And I am ready to celebrate with some new music. And I swear I will be far more prompt getting the CDs out this month than I was last month. See, I told you September was garbage.

So. Now. What are you all up to this month?
Will you be celebrating Halloween? With kids? With other adults? What are they and you dressing up as?
Have you heard of the Denver Zombie Crawl? Oh hell yes, I am photographing that again this year.
October is gonna rock.
YAY for October! Hope it is a great month for you!
October *is* gonna rock! I’m performing my very first wedding next week – EEK. Totally nervous about it. However, I’m taking some comfort in the fact that the wedding is on the beach in Hawaii 🙂 The rest of the month is filled with concerts and good times. Bring it on, October!
Child wants to be a cowboy. Which means I need to get on making her some chaps…
There was talk among my 4 kids of all going as zombies, even the youngest. (How cute would a 4 year old zombie be???) If it happens, my husband and I will dress up as zombies as well.
Lately my 4 year old has been changing her mind though. Last night she informed us she wants to be a “tiger witch” so we’ll see what ends up happening.
We have ninjas in our house. We are celebrating with kids and as often as I can squeeze in. We are hoping, hoping, hoping that it isn’t too cold by the end of the month! But should it be freezing I have a back up plan of an impromptu halloween party!
oooh I loves me some greeblemix!
So, this Halloween Danny and I are having a party – a costume party for Adults. Whoa. Been a long time since we’ve had an Adults party. But should be fun.
I’m going to be a “sexy witch” – Hubs picked that out for me. S/B fun.
MJ will be a tiger – if her costume holds out that long, she’s been wearing it since early September but it still looks pretty good.
Sullivan is going to be a wolfman. We’ll see how that one goes.
So if you guys are going to be in town you’re totally invited!
Halloween is such a great time for my kids. Although, they haven’t figured out what their costumes will be yet. I leave as much up to them as possible and facilitate their ideas.
A trip to Telluride, Durango & San Francisco.
Heard of “Big and Small”? That’s my husband and 5-yr-old. Purple and orange fun fur needs to be procured. Werewolf and Pokemon trainer for the other two. Do I have to dress up?
I love October and Halloween! I am so glad we’re on the other side of Summer. I like to dress up, but I work with poopie UN fun people and am not sure if I will let my freak flag fly alone…Oh, I’ve done it, but maybe not this year….
My favorite Halloween was when my baby (now 21) was about 3 and he was a green crayola crayon… money was tight and I used a green poster board for the body, he wore green sweats and I made a construction paper green cone hat! He looked adorable… but uhhh, mom here forgot to make it so he could walk! The body part came down past his knees and he had to take baby steps, literally! However, again, I state, he was totally cute!
my favorite holilday is here!! yay!
We have a Buzz Lightyear in our house this year! We live in a neighborhood filled with kiddies – so we will trick-or-treat and hand out candy
Zombie Crawl is on the agenda for my husband and I, sitter has been called and I might have to borrow a “friends” house to get ready at – I am going all out – brain mold, blood – it going to be good!
should i be a fresh dead zombie or a long dead zombie?….
and how was I killed?….
these are important questions…..
Eek! Forgot there was still time to comment and win a mix. Aimee supplies my best music, because basically I have no head for new music and she is the BEST.
Hi, staying up late watching TV and playing on the internet, Hubby is in bed with a bad back. Kind of lonely this evening.
Anyway, upping my chances for a new greeblemix.
Im trying to grab some Greeblemix music! Need to expand my musical horizons!
yes please – i am horrible about mixing music, so i would love to listen to your compilations!
ready for some zombie action!
Um hi. I have boys on the 23rd. We have some birthday shenanigans happening but would love to do the crawl. Maybe we’ll see you there!
Just finished putting the finishing touches on our invites, can’t to mail them out. They turned out pretty nice actually.
Thanks for a chance to win 🙂
OUT WITH YOU NOW WANT MY MUSIC
October is a super busy month around here, but at least it isn’t December. 🙂
The kids keep changing their minds about their costumes. So far I have heard vampire, vampire bride, and a zombie Dallas Cowboy.
I doubt that I will have time to make a costume for myself this year. 🙁
One last comment..I forgot to post. Have fun at the zombie crawl! and What are you wearing?!?! Dressing up? Inquiring minds…you know…
