Speaking of Celebrities…
No? The Terp underwear isn’t a dead giveaway?
OK, I am totally kidding. That was mainly a way for me to be able to post a 25 year old photo of my friend Casey in his underwear.
Well, Casey was actually a friend of my sister’s who became like an adoptive little brother to me as we grew up. The photo above from when he hung out at our house in the latch-key days. And when I say hang out, I mean goof off like wild banshees. (Do you feel steam from the computer right now? That’s the heat of my mother’s glare).
Over the years we lost touch, but guess where he lives now? D-E-N-V-E-R.
But we’ve still lost touch since Bryan and I apparently have cooties because we only see him when we run into him among thousands of other people, like at the Race for the Cure or an Avalanche game. But the last time we ran into him, we met his wife! And guess what!
And better yet! She’s gonna have a baby!
And better better yet… she’s started the cutest business ever for moms-to-be and their babes. Go check her out and give her love.
Because, seriously, ANYTHING is better than running around in Terp underwear.
that photo is a stitch!
ha ha, that’s funny. And cute t-shirts!
ahhh… those latch-key days….
so nice to see casey’s face….after so many years. that is about the time I moved away and remember him!
Aimee, I know – he’s like a little babe there!
Isn’t it funny when these young kids we know suddenly become parents? I mean who thought they would be responsible?
Glad you don’t have any photos like that of me!!
Hey, speaking of your sis, how is she doing?
Also: This is why I had a babysitter until I was 17. No lie.
Oh and friends, I got an email from my mom yesterday… and I quote: “You are correct about the steam coming thru the computer.”
Mayberry… I have been trying to get through to my sister, but her voicemail is full. I assume no news is good news, though. Thanks so much for asking. 🙂
