ZZ Ward Concert Photos - Denver Gothic Theatre

ZZ Ward at the Gothic Theatre Denver

I have wanted to see ZZ Ward live since her first album five years ago. I could probably recite "Put The Gun Down" at the drop of a hat. Her latest album, The Storm, is just as powerful and has some great guest stars like…
Gary Numan Concert Photos - Denver 2017

Photos of Gary Numan from 2017 Savage Tour

In the beginning of the year, I walked out of the DNCE show amazed at the performance I had just witnessed. It was incredible. I feel like Gary Numan wrapped up 2017 just like that for me - with an electric display of music and charisma…
AMZY

Happy Birthday AMZY

I used to do birthday posts for friends and I am not sure why I stopped. I also used to post a whole lot more, but that is whole 'nother story. Today is the birthday of two AMZY members, another has one next week... and…
FIDLAR concert photos from Gothic Theatre Denver

FIDLAR and SWMRS Concert at Gothic Theatre

I've seen FIDLAR once before, at a small club, and the crowd was raucous. But their November 2016 show at the Gothic Theatre with SWMRS was way different. Bordering on out of control - in a good way. Perhaps it was angst over the recent…
The Faint Concert Photos at Denver's Gothic Theatre in 2016

The Faint and Gang of Four at Gothic Theatre

The Faint has been together as a band since 1995 (what!) but I discovered them in the mid-2000's. I especially love the song "I Disappear" but there is plenty of great stuff from their most recent albums. I enjoyed them in concert too, although I…
AMZY Concert Photos

AMZY and SF1 at Gothic Theatre

I really had such a fun night recently. Denver bands AMZY and SF1 played together at the Gothic, my son came with us, I was photographing, Bryan was there too, along with a ton of friends. What more can you ask for? We have known SF1…
Judah And The Lion - Denver Concert Photos

Judah and The Lion at The Gothic Theatre

I'm going to be honest. I wasn't sure how the genre "hip hop folk rock" was going to play out in a concert. But everyone promised me Judah & The Lion were killer live - and I should have trusted them. Judah Akers was all over the stage, full of energy and love for the crowd. All the other guys were right there with him, especially Nate Zuercher, who is from Colorado and was proudly sporting a Rockies jersey. It was tons of fun, great music, with banjos, mandolins, accordions, good old rock n' roll, with some rap on top. An incredible show. J+TL will be at festivals throughout the summer, go see them if you can.
