Walk The Moon with Company of Thieves at Ogden Denver

I was lucky enough to photograph Walk The Moon in 2014 during Channel 93.3’s Big Gig and fell in love with them on the spot. Of course, lead singer Nicholas Petricca is just as charismatic as ever, but the one thing I love to see with any band is how much fun they have performing. And Walk The Moon has that in spades. Their sold-out show here in Denver also showed how much we love this band.

Opening band Company of Thieves reunited in the past year after lead singer Genevieve had some solo success of her own. When I watch her sing, I am often reminded of Bjork. Someone who has a beautiful voice but uses it in interesting ways, with lots of emotion.

We were among the last dates to have Company of Thieves, but Walk The Moon continues their tour into spring with bands such as Flor, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Joywave and Misterwives. Be sure to go see them if you can!
