Croup is back in town…

Declan woke up this morning sounding like the most pathetic seal I have ever heard. Croup has always been his weakness and leads us straight to urgent care, or worse, the ER… so I grabbed the prednisone stash his asthma doc entrusted to us for this exact scenario and he is also doing an extra breathing treatment this very minute. I know I sound very drama queen, but after seeing how fast he progresses from barking seal to struggling-to-breathe child… we ain’t taking chances… especially since we have the tools (err, meds) to help him.

Bryan and I both have something going on in our throats too, so we must be an utterly crouptastic family today.
