Well, OF COURSE, the funny people of Twitter exploded around 5am this morning. I, OF COURSE, was sleeping at that time. Because, OF COURSE, I am experiencing the marriage of Will and Kate like a civilized person, with Tivo and fish and chips and cider and my girlfriends, tonight, AT A NORMAL EFFING HOUR.

I’m in an odd position. I’m Canadian, and thus technically a subject of the British Monarchy, so I have a built-in vested interest in the Royal Wedding. On the other hand, I’m also a firm anti-monarchist and a believer in the idea of a Canada that is separate from the Commonwealth. In the end, I wish the two kinds – who seem nice enough, really – the same good fortune I wish everybody else getting married.
Still, the jokes are pretty good!

Thank you Aimee, for presenting the only thing worth watching (reading) regarding the royal wedding. And this will be the extent of my interest. Tho I did see some pix of really BAD (not bad good but bad BAD) hats. Ugh.

Thanks for these Aimee! While I got up to watch the wedding, I was too tired to hold my phone in my hand and tweet at the same time. I only stayed awake until partway through the ceremony. Anyway, thanks for completing my #RoyalWedding experience with a Twitter recap!

Funny Stuff! Very Funny Stuff! I did not get up for it but I did have a party that fell on that day so we did a royal theme. Nothing tacky but very cute!
