Busy Being Spoiled Rotten
Have I mentioned that my mom and aunt are here from Maryland? Have I mentioned how much Declan loves his Oma and Pata? Have I mentioned how much they enjoy being around Declan? Have I mentioned that we’ve pulled him out of school for two days so he can play his little brains out with them? Have I mentioned they brought enough birthday presents for him to fill the Empire State Building?
Have I mentioned the three of them are, like, the cutest thing EVAH?
Next week, when they head back home, there is gonna be one sad little boy in our house.

it is hard on the kids when the adoring grownups leave. and hard on the parents, who have to try to help the kid adjust to not having attention 24/7. Good luck with that! (but enjoy it now!!)
