Catching Up

Last week, my college roommate Marabeth and her family stopped by for the evening on their way from Wyoming to Florida for a family wedding and reunion. I finally got a chance to pull the photos in to show you how cute our kids are playing together.

Aren’t they adorable? This is right before the chalk paint was all over my trees, house and even the mattress that was slated for disposal from the C.C.D. (Cat Couch Domination).

This is little miss Emerson. Marabeth is going to be thrilled to see how dirty her face is in these pictures.



This is Marabeth’s brother’s oldest son Evan. He doesn’t remember it, but I changed my very first diaper (EVER) on this kid’s booty.


This picture seriously cracks me up. Because, after dinner, we brought Marabeth’s MacBook out to the patio, hooked up to the Net, and introduced Marabeth’s mom to the world of blogging. And the crazy shit that is on YouTube.


This is Evan’s younger brother Nolan. You wouldn’t believe it, but he’s right around Declan’s age. I think they are giving him Miracle Grow in his Wheaties. Right after this picture was taken, he reported for training camp with the Broncos.


Marabeth’s son Hawkins is 2.5 months younger than Declan. They were supposed to only be 2 weeks apart but they each had their own agendas.

And here is the belle of the evening. Little baby Stella, Evan and Nolan’s new sister. I am kicking myself for not dragging the camera out 20 minutes earlier and catching the *really* good light. But these will have to do for now.
