Did something tonight I haven’t done in a long, long time.
I went to a concert by myself. I haven’t done that since college.
But I had to. Keane was in town and I love them and Bryan doesn’t and Danielle is out of town and no one else wanted to go.
And thank God I did.
They were way awesome. WAY.
If you have ever remotely liked Keane, go see them live. Tom Chaplin’s voice is AMAZING. Beyond amazing. Even if he does look like Harry Potter.
And another thing that was nice to see: a Denver crowd being fucking cool for once. Denver has this reputation for just standing there like putzes during concerts, and I will tell you – it’s not wholly unfounded. But tonight, we rocked the house.
I am ready to go see them again tomorrow night. But, tomorrow night is Bryan’s turn to see Bjork at Red Rocks. What can I say? He’s had a crush on her for 10 years.

What can I say? Crushes run deep. Actually I love the Sugarcubes. But later Bjork, not so much.
He had a great time, btw. And I had fun all day sending him messed up photos of Bjork and writing notes on Post-its like “Bryan + Bjork = TLF!” hee hee…
