Dirty Heads, The Interrupters and Dreamers at Red Rocks

I haven’t been up to Red Rocks as much as I would like this summer, but when I have been, the lineups have been packed with great bands. Dirty Heads, The Interrupters and Dreamers played last month to a sold-out crowd of loyal fans. Both Dreamers and The Interrupters seemed pretty overwhelmed to be playing the iconic venue, but Dirty Heads, who have headlined there for several years now, where pretty comfortable in the huge space. So much so that they joked, “When we started this band over a decade ago, you think we’d be playing here with lyrics like that?”

Dirty Heads is an interesting mix of genres. Hip hop, ska, rock – and they have fun going back and forth between them all night long. Everyone up on the rocks had fun with them too.
