Hollerado – Live in Denver
Apparently everyone in Denver goes out on Tuesday nights. Because no one was available to see the Canadian band Hollerado with me last week on their first-ever stop in Denver… so I went by myself.
It wasn’t the first time I have gone to a concert alone – in fact, the first time I saw my beloved Keane I was all by my lonesome. But I knew Hollerado was playing the Hi Dive, a very small venue, so I would stand out more standing there with no one.
Apparently the band was surprised anyone showed up at all. “Where you the one tweeting at us? We were happy to see it – then we knew at least one person would show up.”
Well, I was glad I did, they were awesome, they played one of my favorite songs “Juliette” specifically for me, and I could get up close and personal to catch some video:
For better quality and hilariously geeky visuals, watch their video for Americanarama.
Um whoa, weird comment page.
Small venues are the best!
The kids loved their video! And the music is great, good for you for getting the word out.
I know – blogger must be moving the way of Google products.
