Home
Sometimes what you need to do is get away to be at home. After the first night in Mexico, after we had all slept for 12 hours straight, Bryan said my face had changed. It is nice to have known someone that long, someone who pays such close attention – for them to see when you are relaxing.
We haven’t had a real vacation in three years. Not since before my ear and before Bryan was laid off. We have been on trips here and there, yes – but we’ve either had to work or run around like maniacs, or both.
This past week, we were able to sit back and do nothing. We made sand castles. We splashed each other in the pool.
We were family.

What a great family photo. I’m jealous, it’s been years since I’ve had a real vacation and I am dying for a break, myself.
We are so due for a vacation like that. You are inspiring me to book it.
I know how it feels to be back home after a long time. Have fun!
