In The Whale and Reno Divorce at Globe Hall

Denver duo In The Whale was among the first bands we met when I started photographing concerts, as evidenced by all these posts about them, included a weird street interview we did on a curb five years ago. What’s great about these guys is they are the epitome of hustle and have been touring almost non-stop since. Shows in Denver are rare these days since they are gone so much … I make sure I catch them.

They recently played at Globe Hall with local legends Reno Divorce, which pretty much formed a perfect line-up. It was a crazy night, where I ended up getting knocked around by the crowd a bit, even chipping my teeth.

But trust me, these guys are worth it. Every single time.

In The Whale has a Denver show next at the Oriental on April 26th with The Yawpers, but are all over the south and midwest this spring.
