Tons of Photos from Denver Comic Con 2017
Every year, when I attend Denver Comic Con, I try to lurk in the shadows. Mainly because I like catching people in candid moments rather than setting them up all posey-posey. Not that there is anything wrong with smiling straight into the camera for photos – I just love observing the wide variety of people at DCC and how they interact with each other.
2017 brought the geek out for 115,000 attendees and again makes Denver the third largest Comic Con in the country (behind San Diego and New York). There were some rule changes and lots of space reorganization that bewildered folks at first (including me) – but once we got the hang of it, all was well.
As I said, I mostly like to wander the halls and check out all the creative costumes – but this year I apparated right into James and Oliver Phelps session – because, hello, Harry Potter. Every year there seems to be a theme to what attendees are wearing… this time was all about Stranger Things, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars (as always) and the one I found most interesting… Moana.
The date is already set for 2018, so clear your calendars from June 15th to 17th. Tickets will be available this fall!
These are great! We are going next year for sure!
