Streetwear that Hobos Would Be Totally Jealous Of…
Notice how wet the streets are? And those girls are still going after the Half Marathon. Color me uber impressed. Of course, the last minute addition to their running attire was garbage bags from my household collection. Although Anne complained that she felt that she was more of “Garbage Small” than a “Kitchen Tall.”

Of course what the rain means for us is we’re deviating from our plan to bike around the course to cheer them on… and using the car instead.
I know, we’re total pussies.
AND WE’RE OFF!

hilarious! and good luck runners!
I can’t believe they ran in that! Amazing!
What good sports!!! I’m so proud of all of you. WTG 🙂
And I *STILL* froze my ass off!
You are a wimp. They run and you drive in your car. What’s a little rain? 🙂
those are some foxy runners!
The next time a department store employee asks me what size I am, I’m going to relay the information in terms of garbage bags. I can’t wait. 🙂
I actually saw this on the news! From the rainiest city in the world – aaaaaaw!
And kudos to all those brave runners, even in good weather, I could not keep up!!
Ah, yes… the floods have begun here as well. I mean, we got them first, I guess. They’re still here. Ugh.
I don’t blame ya for taking the car!
Carrie – that’s the thing – it rarely rains here!!!
This morning? Totally blue skies and sunny.
How funny!
THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!
You were awesome Aimee. It was freaking cold, so I don’t blame you one bit for driving. You were smart! I’m just thankful you had blankets and jackets waiting for us at the finish line.
Aimee, you are my personal hero since you came to my rescue with a fleece pullover and blanket for my legs.
It was a lot more fun than the weather would indicate! Aimee, Bryan and Declan are the best hosts.
You may be a total pussy, but at least you brought blankets to the finish.
You are a rockin’ hostess!
