Best Denver Concert Photos 2023
What an incredible year 2023 was for me – and for concerts in general. I checked off bucket list artists all year long. I got to photograph some of the biggest tours of the year, including TIME Person of the Year, Taylor Swift. Then there was Queen, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode, and my all-time favorite band, Crowded House.
We traveled to cover two major festivals this year: Shaky Knees in Atlanta and Riot Fest in Chicago. Both were incredible weekends of music and I highly recommend them. Plus, speaking of icons – there was a day at Riot Fest that I photographed Kim Gordon, Ani DiFranco, The Breeders, then Tegan and Sara right in a row.
I also loved discovering new (or new to me) bands this year like Emei, Enola Gay, Lovejoy, Sun Room, and Young Fathers. Connecting with local Denver faves like The Trujillo Company, Ipecac and N3PTUNE. Attending shows at all of our fave Denver venues including Lost Lake, The Ogden, Mission Ballroom and, of course, our iconic Red Rocks Ampitheatre.
