Family Planning for Luck

It’s out of the bag. We have a pregnancy at the office. And if that wasn’t exciting enough – it’s brought to us by our lady of Chinese origin in the Year of the Golden Pig. Something that only rolls around once every 60 years. I really had no idea what this meant, but she promises me that even though they weren’t aiming for it, it’s a very, very, very lucky year to have a baby. So much so, that when I did a Google search on it, I found article upon article about how China is preparing for a baby boom this year. It blows my mind. And how utterly cool that we will have a little golden piglet running around the office in a few months.
