List of Best Windows Phone Apps
Ever since I started using my Windows Phone Lumia, people have been constantly asking me about the apps. What are they like? How many are there?
The good news is, there are a lot. I am still missing a few of my favorite iPhone photography editing apps, but in general, everything I need is there. So here is a list, current for 2015, of all the apps you should get as soon as you get a Windows Phone. They are in alphabetical order, and I left off games because that’s a whole ‘nuther post in itself!

As you can tell, there are lots to choose from. Do you have any other Windows Phone apps to suggest?
Note: Microsoft Lumia provided me with a Lumia 1020 in the past. However, all words and opinions are mine. No app creators were involved with the content of this post.
Wow, looks like they do have the basics covered.
I know right, Janie?
Terrific list! I would add two apps to it.
MixRadio is a fantastic music streaming service unique to Windows Phones right now, though it might push to Android later this year as they’ll be splitting off from the Microsoft team.
I would also throw out a shout to Movie Creator. It’s one of the best mobile video editors on any platform, rivaling what you can do with iMovie, and absolutely stomps anything available on Android. Plus it works on ALL windows devices from phones and tablets, to laptops and desktops. Really handy way to quickly slice up some video. I reviewed it here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gRPFCYkPZA
Juan, thanks for the additions. I didn’t put Mix Radio on since they were coming standard but good point since they are splitting off. I love that app too! And I will check out Movie Creator!
Will check these out. thanks!
Thanks so much for including us, Aimee! We’re proud to be able to provide our platform for Windows users, which was an exciting new expansion for us in 2014!
I had no idea there were so many!
I love this one, now I can put applications to my Lumia. It is really difficult to find applications suited to windows phone. Thank you for sharing this one.
