PBJs In Your PJs: What Else? A Wine Tasting Party!
Remember way back in your memorybanks to this summer? When I – and about 50 million other people – went to BlogHer? Well, if you remember further, while at the Kirtsy/Alltop party, I tasted some Israeli Wine – when I don’t actually care for wine all that much really. Erm. It was quite good so I had a rather lot of Israeli Wine as a matter of fact. To where the point where a portion of the night is pretty dang fuzzy. But! Here’s the cool thing! Out of the fuzz, a friendship was born!
Richard and I have been talking for months about how to get over my fear of wine. My huband and best friends have been actively encouraging this relationship, because then MAYBE we could actually share a bottle of wine 4 ways instead of just them there with the fancy wine glasses and me with my Coors Light. So embarrasing. For them.
Finally, Richard hit on the perfect thing! Peanut Butter and Jelly! And Wine! And our Pajamas!
OF COURSE!
The big event will happen this Saturday. Richard is coming from Chicago. The wine has already been shipped. And I have had a hell of a time keeping Bryan out of it, let me tell ya. Richard is also launching a wicked awesome text based ordering system, so we are totally his guinea pigs.
But wait! For those of you who can’t be here with us, we are gonna be true blogging web whores and blast the party all over my Ustream account. I won’t be held accountable for my goofball friends, so you have been warned – but COME HERE this Saturday night around 7pm+ if you are online and bored and want to watch a bunch of grown adults drinking wine in their pajamas. OR, if no one shows, you can watch Richard, Bryan and I drinking 2 cases of wine all by our lonesomes. Really, it could go either way.
But Bryan’s getup alone will be worth a peek.

I cannot wait for this party. Normally, my excuse for leaving a wine tasting is that I’m getting drunk and have to go home to get into my PJs. Not this time, my friend.

My step mom drinks her coors light from a wine glass. If this whole wine drinking thing doesn’t work out for you, you might give that a try. 🙂
