The Yawpers and CITRA at Levitt Pavilion Denver

I can’t tell you how many times I have seen Denver band The Yawpers, but I haven’t photographed them in nearly four years. I think it’s just because I have so much fun at their shows, I don’t feel like working. They played a terrific set at Levitt Pavilion with fellow Denverites, CITRA. We’ve had a rainy summer, but it held off and provided a delightful night of dirty American rock.

The Yawpers released Human Question this year and I think it’s my favorite album of theirs. I say “I think,” because I love them all, but I love them even better live. And guess what! They are back in Denver this weekend at Globe Hall. Get there if you can.
