Anything For Love
Via Albert Bredenhann. In February 2014, one of Gerdi McKenna’s friends wrote an email requesting a photoshoot for all her friends as she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months before … and this what happened…
This video basically made me weep. My grandmother lost one breast to cancer in the 70s and then it recurred and finally took her life in the mid-90s. I remember stories of how ostracized she felt. I love that communities are rallying behind their friends and not just raising money for the cause, but making their lives better as they battle this terrible disease.

Wow, this is amazing. good for them.
Such an inspiring video
A friends’ family (husband, 3 kids, sister, some friends close enough to be family) all did this for her last year – amazing that this trend to support one another continues!
That is so amazing Laura! Stories like that just fill up my heart.
BAWLING LIKE A BABY; precious, just precious.
I know right, Heather? And I just saw a news story about a young child who shaved her head to support her friend for cancer and got detention because it broke the school dress code. They just allowed her back by special vote. Oh wait, ha, it is sitting in my Twitter feed in the sidebar because I RTed it: http://t.co/LtxpN7WVMs
